Movi Equipamentos® is a Brazilian manufacturer focused on lifting and load handling for the port sector, general-cargo and pulp terminals, logistics and industry. Our purpose is to create technological solutions through the development, manufacture and supply of equipment that meets our customers' needs, delivering greater optimisation and safety in their operations.

In the market since 1985, we currently have hundreds of units in service across ports, bonded depots (EADIs) and customs warehouses throughout Brazil. The leadership achieved in the domestic market rests on proprietary technology — the result of broad experience and continuous innovation — and on the trust of our many customers, who believe in our work and in the range of solutions we find to solve their lifting and load-handling problems, always with the highest warranty, international standards and quality service.

The manufacture of SPREADERS for containers, general cargo and pulp, GRABS for logs and for mineral and vegetable bulks, GARRAS of every kind, BUCKETS, ROTARY TABLES and OVERHEAD CRANES, among others, together with PREVENTIVE AND CORRECTIVE MAINTENANCE SERVICES and CONSULTING, represent the success of Movi Equipamentos in an increasingly competitive and dynamic market.

Movi develops engineering solutions for industrial, logistics and port operations — where every tonne moved depends on precise design, calculation and execution.

From concept to fabrication, every piece of equipment starts with the customer's operational problem.

06Projects

Projects & applications

At Movi Equipamentos®, we turn complex operational challenges into robust, tailor-made engineering solutions. Since 1985 we have designed, manufactured and commissioned high-performance equipment that keeps cargo flowing in the most demanding port, pulp and heavy-industry operations in Brazil.

Specialised solutions by segment

01

Port operations and marine terminals

Container spreaders

Automatic telescopic and mechanical models, plus Overheight (SEA) structures for handling out-of-gauge cargo.

Bulk grabs

Built to speed up the transhipment of mineral and vegetable bulk, with mechanical or electro-hydraulic operation.

Hoppers and conveyors

Static or mobile receiving structures integrated with belts for continuous discharge of trucks and railcars.

02

Pulp and general cargo

Patented frames and spreaders

Exclusive equipment (IUH, CUH and CORB lines) designed to handle pulp bales and reels safely and at the same time.

Automated clamps and grapples

"C"-type grapples for container stacking and bale selectors mounted on forklifts and overhead cranes.

03

Logistics yards, EADIs and bonded warehouses

Heavy lifting equipment

Industrial overhead and gantry cranes equipped with hook/rope and high-capacity open trolleys.

Internal transport and manoeuvring

Industrial semi-trailers (up to 80 tonnes), steerable trailers and turntables for moving large structures.

04

Steel and wood handling

Industrial tongs

Bespoke solutions for lifting and safely moving steel plates, billets and eucalyptus logs.

Precision engineering and operational safety

Advanced structural analysis (FEA)

Every design is simulated by Finite Element Analysis (FEA), ensuring maximum mechanical strength, lower self-weight and a longer service life under intensive duty regimes.

International standards

Manufacturing fully aligned with industrial and marine safety standards, backed by complete technical certification.

Custom engineering

Design from scratch, or nationalisation and adaptation of imported parts and accessories for existing fleets.

Field services and technical consulting

Preventive and corrective maintenance

Specialised technical inspection of steelwork structures and hydraulic/mechanical systems.

Overhaul and retrofit

Structural modernisation of port cranes, overhead cranes and lifting attachments.

Logistics consulting

Diagnosis of cargo-handling bottlenecks to point at the right equipment, raising productivity and cutting cycle time.
